Garden culture: “Sow generously, reap generously.”

Formerly growing on a little more than 1/8 of an acre at home and on a larger scale at The Sixpence wedding and event venue, the gardens at home are now focused on healthy local peonies for spring weddings. Additionally, in the spirit of dreaming up truly custom flowers for Indiana weddings, the gardens host a breeding patch of soft pastel zinnias, offering truly one of a kind designs.

Somewhere along the way in 2020, I realized shoveling dirt made me smile, and I chased the literal and figurative breath of fresh air that is gardening.

Every aspect of the floral design is pure magic to me: taking care of the soil at my home garden, discovering what will make a bride’s floral uniquely hers, and designing with a team of like-minded freelancers who are also flower obsessed. The only thing I love more than flowers, is sharing them with others!

When not designing flowers, I’m taking care of our three kids, dancing, studying, laughing at our 3 dogs, and drinking coffee.
